Mbagathi Hospital was Sunday handed a boost after it received three heavy-duty electric delivery beds and cardiac monitor that will enhance provision of maternity services.

The contribution was made by the Safaricom Foundation in partnership with the adminstration of Governor Johnson Sakaja.

The donated items, Sakaja said, will enhance the dignity of patients as his medical officers strive to offer quality healthcare to the people of Nairobi.

Sakaja said that the new additions are set to bolster the hospital's capacity to deliver exceptional care, especially in the maternity and cardiac departments. T

"This donation is a testament to the fruitful partnerships that are pivotal to our healthcare mission," he said.

"Health services is the cornerstone of my administration's commitment to the people of Nairobi."
