The date December 10 will be a day ODM Raila Odinga will live to remember.

The one day the whole country was glued to the screens to hear him announce his 2022 presidential bid.

"I hereby declare that I will present myself for election..." Raila finally announced, the much awaited news at the Moi International Sports Complex in Kasarani.

The former Prime Minister on Friday launched the Azimio la Umoja movement, which he said will be a coalition.

This day would not have been complete without his support system by his side.

Raila was escorted to the event by his wife, son, daughters and other family members.

To show unity as a family, his wife, Ida Odinga, introduced their family, including sisters-in-law, nephews and their wives, a grandchild among others.

The sisters-in-law who graced the event are Dr Akinyi Wenwa, Ruth Odinga, Beryl Ochieng Odinga, and Tabu Osewe Odinga.

Ida also introduced Dr Annah Oburu Odinga, her two sisters Clarice Oyoo and Eunice Sigei, nephews Jack Oburu and Nephew Elijah Oburu together with their wives and her niece Chizi.

Raila's children Rosemary Odinga, Winnie Mandela Odinga and Raila Jnr together with his son Lion Amollo Odinga.
