Large turn out of UDA members turn up for the nominations at Kasarani primary school on April,14,2022.

UDA members on Thursday came out in large numbers during the nominations at Kasarani primary school.

The nominations were conducted peacefully and the long queues were well manned.

The voting will take place in 36 counties across the country and the exercise will only be open to the eight million registered UDA members.

However, the Board has suspended primaries in Nandi Hills, Narok South and Nakuru town west constituencies until April 19.

Nominations in Nandi Hills have been suspended after an aspirant died in a road accident.

In Embakasi Central, chaos marred UDA nominations as voters protested the delays in the commencement of the exercise at polling stations.

At Kayole One Primary School in Kayole North Ward, anti-riot police had to be called to restore order after voters threatened to attack election officials.
