Security has been beefed up at the Bomas of Kenya.
IEBC commissioner Abdi Guliye ordered those who are not involved in vote verification to leave the National tallying centre.
More security officers have been deployed at the centre to reinforce the directive.
The directive was issued on Saturday evening.
"We have made changes to access Bomas tallying center. We will only allow the presence of agents, persons who will help them, chief agents, deputy chief agents, clerks, observers and the media you can cover as you wish," he said.
"From now on, if you are not on the terrace, can you please find your way out."
Guliye said that the directive is to minimize disruptions to the tallying process.
