Six judges appointed by President William Ruto were on Wednesday sworn in at the State House, Nairobi.

The judges included Korir Kipyegon, Muchelule Otsyula, Odunga  Vincent and Joel Ngugi.

Others are Makori Evans of Environment and Elizabeth Omange of Land Court.

The six were nominated in 2019 by the Judicial Service Commission but former President Uhuru Kenyatta rejected to appoint them.

Their families were present for the ceremony.
