President William Ruto has left the country for London, United Kingdom to attend the late Queen Elizabeth II's burial, which will be held on Monday.
He left on Sunday, marking his first official departure since he was sworn in as President on Tuesday.
He was accompanied by the First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto.
"Strengthening our ties with the international community will catalyse the transformation of our country. Departed for London, United Kingdom to attend Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s burial," he tweeted.
After the burial, Ruto will leave United Kingdom for the United States of America.
He will join world leaders for the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
