Kenya's first family on Sunday hosted a Thanksgiving church service at State House.

All were in attendance from family members, clergy and Kenya Kwanza leaders who joined in the praise and worship session.

The first lady, Rachel Ruto Mama Rachel shared a word of faith after the service ended.

'For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations,' she said.

Rachel also shared a bible verse; Psalm 100:4-5, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him and praise his name."

President William Ruto was not left behind as he posted,"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. — Thessalonians 5:16-18,"
