Huge crowds were on call to welcome President William Ruto to Nyanza during his visit to the region on Saturday.
The President is on a two-day working tour of the region which started yesterday in Homa Bay county.
Nyanza is the political stronghold of Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
The President is accompanied by his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua and other dignitaries are set to join him including Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula.
