Interior and National Administration CS Kithure Kindiki has directed that all National Government Administration Offices must have publicly displayed service charters.

He said the charters should clearly outline the services provided, the cost of accessing such services, and the duration within which a citizen shall be served.

The service charters will be written in English and Kiswahili, and where possible, translated into local languages.

He was speaking during the commissioning of the Biashara Location Chief’s camp in Thika West sub-county, Thika town constituency, Kiambu County.
