King Charles III on Thursday inspected the guard of honour in Mombasa after he was received by President William Ruto.
King Charles III inspected a guard of honour mounted by Kenya Navy before witnessing Kenya Navy Marine Commandos (KNMC) conduct amphibious landing drills at Mtongwe jetty.
The King was accompanied by Queen Camilla to the Kenya Navy Base, Mtongwe in Mombasa where the Royal Navy Marines are training Kenya Navy Marine Commandos.
Other leaders present were the First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as well as the Prime Cabinet Secretary and CS for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi.
Others included several Cabinet Secretaries among them Aden Duale (Defence), the Chief of Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla, Service Commanders and other Senior Government and military officials from the two countries.
