President William Ruto will on Sunday joined the faithfuls for a church service at Approved School Grounds, Kakamega on February 4, 2024

Ruto has been on a four-day working tour in Western region of the country since Thursday.

Among the distinguished attendees were Governors Fernandes Barasa (Kakamega) and Wilber Otichillo (Vihiga), National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula, COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli, and UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala, to name a few.

The Head of State has always been open about his love for religion.

Article 27 of the Constitution provides for equality and freedom from discrimination.

It says every person is equal before the law and has the right to equal protection and equal benefit of the law, equality in the sense that they have access to equal enjoyment of all rights and fundamental freedoms.

President Ruto often quotes Bible verses in his speeches and is an ardent Christian who rarely misses church.
