Families who lost their loved ones have been trickling to the Nairobi Funeral Home( formerly City Mortuary) to identify the bodies of their loved ones.

This is after the bodies of female victims were retrieved from a dumpsite at Kware.

Police are currently trying to document all the victims.

Three suspects have so far been arrested in connection to the murders.

The family of Rose Ogongo positively identified her body.

Kenya Red Cross counselling team engage with friends and family who had come to City Mortuary to identify their missing relatives on July 17,2024.

One of the family members said that she was identified after one of her socks was found in her handbag while another one was at her house.

She said that half of her body was missing and that one could not easily identify her.

She said the family is slowly coming to terms with her death and the bizarre incident unfolding in Kware.

Her mother, 70, Benta Awuor Ogongo was distraught after identifying her last-born daughter's remains.

The mother of three was among the mutilated bodies found at a quarry dumpsite in Embakasi.
