Traders in Kibuye market, Kisumu are counting losses following an early morning fire.
The fire gutted down a hotel and some stalls but most traders managed to salvage their goods.
The traders said the fire started at 6.45am from a traditional medicine store and spread to nearby shops.
The fire fighters managed to contain the fire on time. The extent of damage is yet to be established.
Police have launched investigation to establish the cause of fire.
