President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday attended the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey.
A statement from State House said Uhuru arrived in Turkey Thursday evening and went on to join other Heads of State and government at the forum on Friday.
Uhuru who was invited to the diplomacy forum by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will also be in the country for a two day, official visit.
The President is scheduled to address the meeting that has over 10 visiting Heads of State and Government from across the world attending.
He will also engage in other bilateral talks during his visit.
Uhuru was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo.
The ADF has brought together diplomatic actors from across the world among them political leaders, diplomats, opinion shapers and academics to discuss and fashion solutions to identified global challenges as well as identify opportunities for international collaboration.
The forum is themed; “Innovative Diplomacy: New Era, New Approaches.”
This is the inaugural meeting of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
