According to an opinion poll by Trends and Insights for Africa, the party has 29 per cent support and is closely followed by Raila Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement at 25 per cent.
This is, however, a drop for UDA from a poll conducted by Tifa in April where the Party had 34 per cent while ODM trailed with 19 per cent.
The number of undecided voters stands at 13 per cent.
President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee and Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper tied at 3 per cent.
UDA is the most popular party in Central and South Rift at 54 and 55 per cent, while ODM is the most popular party in the Nyanza region at 58.
UDA is also popular in Mt Kenya at 41 per cent.
Other counties ODM has dominated include Western, Northern, Nairobi and the Coast region.
The data was collected through a telephonic survey.
1,719 respondents were polled in the research conducted between May 15 and May 16, 2022. The poll had a margin of error +/- 2.34 per cent.
The poll also indicated Raila Odinga – Martha Karua ticket has been rated the most popular at 39 per cent and 35 per cent for the Ruto-Gachagua ticket.
