President William Ruto is currently presiding over the swearing in Principal secretary nominees at State House, Nairobi.
The swearing in of the nominees comes hours after the President gazetted their appointment.
Unlike his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta, Ruto opted to work with 51 PSs under different State Departments.
Uhuru worked with 26 Principal secretaries.
President Ruto retained three PSs from his predecessor's administration.
Belio Kipsang will now take over the state department for basic education while Peter Tum will be at the state department for medical services under the Ministry of Health.
Charles Hinga has been approved as the housing and urban development PS.
Parliament on Thursday unanimously approved the appointment of Principal Secretaries nominated by President William Ruto.
