This after securing Sh2 million bail granted by the court on Thursday

In a state to newsrooms, her lawyer Phillip Murgor says Maxine is now on her way home with her mother Beverley Wahome.

Murgor has also stated that they shall be writing a letter to DPP to review the file and evidence in a bid to drop murder charges against Maxine

He says they are certain the DPP will agree with them that the late Asad Khan was the sole author of the injuries that caused his hospitalisation.

“As for the cause of his death: the 3 pathologists who participated in the forensic post-mortem examination all concur in the opinion that it was septicaemia caused by drug-resistant, hospital-acquired bacteria that finally caused his death. It is therefore a fit case for an inquest to be held to determine the facts” the statement reads
