Pastor Dorcas recounts sister's death on streets over an illness

Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has gone down memory lane on how she lost her sister due to illness.

Speaking on Thursday to Wendy Griffith at the CBN Studio Headquarters, Pastor Dorcas recounted her life on the streets.

Pastor Dorcas said that she can relate to the life of street children because she was once there.

She revealed that she lost her sister from pneumonia due to cold in the streets.

"That is why you can see I feel the heartbeat of street children because I have been there, I know how it is to be without food and clothes. It was so cold that one of my sisters died of pneumonia," she said.

Pastor Dorcas said she went through hard times with the help of her mother who prayed for them.

"My mother prayed for us, she spoke words of power and authority over us. She told us not to worry because when your father is not there and you are children of the widow, your father in heaven will see you through," she said.

She said that the cycle of substance abuse and crime has ruined the life of many young men and robbed them of their futures.

Pastor Dorcas said Kenyans must work together to rescue the boychild and have a destiny-bound boy child with a vision to better his life.
