KPLCKenya Power has listed areas in nine counties scheduled for power interruption on Wednesday.
The power interruption will occur between 8 am and 5 pm in the different counties.
The utility firm said the power interruption is to facilitate system maintenance.
The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Kiambu, Kilifi, Mombasa, Nandi, Kisii, Nyeri and West Pokot.
Nairobi
Areas in Nairobi will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
They include part of Naivasha Road, Melchizedek Hospital, Corner Height Apartments, Part of Riara Road, Part of Kingara Road, Part of Dagoretti Corner, Wanyee Road, Kinyanjui Road, Part of Riruta Satellite, Bamboo Lane, Kenya Science University, The Junction Mall, Kenya Shell, Brew Bristo, Part of Ngong Road and adjacent customers.
At the same time, areas including Thigiri Ridge Road, Nyari East, Parts of Red Hill Rd, Gachie S/Centre, PCEA Gachie, SDA and adjacent customers will experience power interruption.
Other areas in Nairobi will experience power interruption from 9am to 6pm.
They include Harambee Sacco, Oyster, Donholm Phase 5, Carlic School, Part of Donholm Phase 8 and adjacent customers.
West Pokot
Areas in West Pokot are set to experience power interruption from 9am to 5pm.
The areas are Chepkechir, Naramam, Emboasis, and adjacent customers.
Uasin Gishu
Parts of Uasin Gishu will face power interruption from 9am to 4pm.
The areas include Mugundoi Center, Chemenei, AIC Kosgei Secondary School, Chepkigen and Ngeria Mwamba.
Nandi
Areas in Nandi to experience power disruption from 9.30am to 5pm include Chepkumia and adjacent customers.
Kisii
Parts of Kisii to face power cuts from 9am to 4pm include Ogembo Law Courts, Bishop Mogendi Boys, Nyabisiongoroi, Ogembo market, Nyamburumbasi, Ikoba, Tabaka Complex, Kamagambo Water Pump, Riosiri Market and adjacent customers.
Nyeri
Areas in Nyeri will experience power interruption from 8am to 5pm.
The areas include Mary Immaculate Hospital, Baraka East, Mwai Kibaki Residence, Sasini, Major Seminary, Embassy, Our Lady of Lourdes, Kihuyo Market, Tree Top Hotel and Waihenya East.
Other areas in Nyeri to have power interruption from 8am to 4pm include Gathuki Mundu, Maganjo Mkt, Gathungururu Girls, Tambaya Market, Kaheti Market, Wahundura Secondary School and Wahundura C/Fact .
Kiambu
Areas in Kiambu to experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm are Mungetho, Mirimaini, Kiaora Farm, Nchengo Farm Mtaro Farm, Kariki Farm Bob Harries, Kijito, Mashule East, Karakuta East, Gachibi Farm, Kwa Ndumbe, Kirai, Mutuma Market, Gitatuliya, Mangu, Ige gania, St. Francis Mangu Girls, Kairi, Kagabwa, Gatukuyu Market, Kawira, Allan Dashi, Diana Farm, Kihe-nia Farm, Kigio Market, Oriti Farm, Runyua Farmers, Karibaribi, Kirika Farm, Uzima Centre, Bubbles, Maryhill Girls and Fagards.
Kilifi
Parts of Kilifi to face power interruption from 9am to 5pm include Ganda, Kakuyuni, Alaskan, Sunpark, and Mtangani.
Mombasa
Areas in Mombasa to experience power interruption from 9am to 3pm include Devki, Shreeji, Icolo, Transpares, Samaki Poa, Weldcon, Excel, Total Petrol Station and adjacent customers.
