Opposition leader Raila Odinga has weighed in on the changes at Kenya Medical Supplies Authority which saw some officials sacked.
The officials included Health PS Josephine Mburu, the Kemsa board chairman Daniel Rono, board members and CEO Terry Ramadhani.
He said the government was reacting to a major issue in the authority.
"..I don't think that this is the only scandal that they have in Kemsa. Within a short period of time, you are going to see a hemorrhage in the government," he said.
He spoke on Tuesday during a press briefing.
Raila added that a government ought to be run as one, saying the President should not come up with key policy issues in respective ministries.
This, he said, is the work of the Cabinet secretary not the head of state.
"If there's a scandal in Kemsa, there is a minister for health, a permanent secretary for health in medical services," he said.
"So it raises more questions than answers in the so-called surgery in ministry."
The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader was responding to a question posed by a journalist on his take following Monday's action.
President William Ruto saw to the firing of Mburu, Rono and the entire Kemsa board and appointed Irungu Nyakera as the board chairperson.
Further, Health CS Susan Wafula appointed Andrew Mutava Mulwa as the new acting CEO and also reconstituted the board and appointed new members.
The changes came after a Sh3.7 billion bungled mosquito net deal, which was canceled by the Global Fund over irregularities in the procurement process.
