WhatsApp, owned by Meta has introduced a new feature on its platform allowing its users to edit a message up to 15 minutes after sending it.
In its blog post, Meta said a user will not worry after sending a message with mistakes.
"For the moments when you make a mistake or simply change your mind, you can now edit your sent messages on WhatsApp, 15 minutes after sending a message," the post read.
"So you don’t have to worry if you duck it up."
The feature will be enabled globally, and once a user has updated the app, they'll be able to make the changes.
To be able to edit the message, a user will have to long-press the text and choose the edit option in the drop-down menu.
However, when the sent message is changed, the text will show an edited label.
