President William Ruto is set to attend a thanksgiving service in Narok West constituency on Sunday.
The service will be held to honor Environment Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu are among the leaders expected to grace the event.
Tuya is among the seven women in Ruto's cabinet.
She has Masters of Laws (LL.M) from University of Washington, USA (2009-2010) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from University of Nairobi (1999-2002)
She served as the Woman Representative of Narok County between 2013-2022.
Before her nomination to the cabinet last October, Tuya was a Nominated Senator in Narok County.
Tuya worked as a Land Law and Gender Specialist at USAID-Kenya (2010-2012)
She was also acting Executive Director, Legal Aid and Education Coordinator at Kituo cha Sheria (2008-2009)
The CS also served as legal officer at Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs (2006-2008)
Tuya was also a legal Aadvisor on land rights at Mainyoito Pastoralist Integrated Development Organization (2006-2007)
