Kenyan YouTuber Lynn Ngugi is celebrating her wins after she scooped three international awards.
In a statement on Wednesday, Ngugi said she was hesitant on whether to share the good news with her fans.
“I have been meaning to share some great news with you but I guess the fear of whether I really deserve this caught up with me, but I am beginning to believe more in myself and I hope everyone dealing with the same thought realizes they are worth this and much more,” she said.
The awards include; Best International Media Personality of the Year (BEFFTA), Global Humanitarian Award (PLEF) - Pauline Long Entrepreneurship Foundation, and Gender Justice Champion Award – Echo Network Africa.
Ngungi dedicated the awards to her fans, calling on them to continue supporting her work.
“Truly grateful for these awards. Dedicating this to each and everyone who continues to believe in our work. Let’s continue impacting our society, one story at a time,” she said.
