Pastor Ezekiel Odero now says he is opening a new branch of his New Life church in Kitengela, Kajiado county.
According to Ezekiel, the church will cater for Nairobi residents.
Speaking to the media at Jacaranda grounds where he is holding a crusade, Odero said they have acquired a 51 acre property where they are building the church that will be open in August.
He declined to speak about his current woes with the state, saying that he loves Kenya and his goal for this outreach is to win souls for Christ.
Odero was flanked by his lawyers Danstan Omari and Cliff Ombeta.
Omari has urged the presidential task force and any other government agencies to visit Mavueni and this crusades so that they can see what New Life is doing.
He said Odero has nothing to hide, and that they should visit his church to see what he does.
The pastor is being investigated for among other things, money laundering and radicalization of his members.
He is out on bail as police complete their investigations in the meantime he is supposed to report to the police once a month.
The announcement on the new church comes a few days after Pastor Ezekiel opened a new branch in Mosocho, Kisii county as he expands his wings for evangelism.
Ezekiel said owners of the land agreed to merge and sell the big parcel to the church.
"This is an area that is densely populated and you don't expect it to be that easy to get a piece of land. We are still in the process of doing the transfers but we have already paid and we thank God for our peace-loving people," Odero told reporters.
