Ruto arrives in Kwale for inter-denominational prayers

President William Ruto has arrived in Kwale County for interdenominational thanksgiving prayers.

The prayer service is being held at Ukunda in Msambweni sub-county.

The prayer service will be conducted by various religious leaders. 

Ruto is afterward also expected to issue cheques to fishing communities in the county before ending his fourth day of the coastal tour.

The head of state began his tour last week on Thursday in Lamu and Tana River where he launched several development projects.

He was accompanied by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula, Kwale Governor Fatuma Achani, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, and Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Sherif among other national leaders are also present.
