ODM Nominated Senator Hezena Lamaletian has urged Kenyans to ignore the ranking done by Mzalendo Trust.

In the report released on Wednesday, Hezena was listed together with Senators Karen Nyamu and Chimera Mwinzago as the least active youth senators.

Mwinzago and Nyamu who are from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party spoke 23 and 17  times respectively.

Hezena is said to only have spoken 21 times.

Reacting on her Facebook page, Senator Hezena said that actions are better than words.

"Ignore that ranking. It is based on who are the loudest noisemakers in the house and all of us cannot be parrots. I speak only when necessary," she said.

The report by Mzalendo Trust, its first scorecard of the 13th Parliament stated that the three senators spoke less than 27 times.
