Barely a week after vowing to deal decisively with sugar cartels, President William Ruto has now trained his gun on corrupt judges.
In yet another bare-knuckle attack, the President accused some judicial officers of working in cahoot with the cartels to advance what he described as an "illegal agenda".
Ruto said he is now ready to crush the cartels in totality together with their accomplices.
"There are people in our judicial system who are facilitating corruption by working with the corrupt. That is why certain cases go to certain judges because they are part of the corruption enterprise and the corruption industry in Kenya," he said.
"I want to tell you, all these collaborators we will deal with them firmly and decisively."
He warned the corrupt who are using the Judicial system to obtain stay orders and prolong their cases to evade the pursuit of justice that their days are numbered.
"We are going to make sure that the judicial who facilitate corruption in Kenya must also leave."
The declaration comes hot on the heels of his recent warning shot at sugar cartels.
While on a tour of Western Kenya, the President launched a scathing attack on people he described as saboteurs of revival efforts of government-owned sugar industries.
He said he would deal with them and ensure the ailing sugar factories in Western Kenya roar back to life.
“Hawa wakora wote watoke. Hio kampuni ni ya wananchi na tutaipangia upya. Hakuna kesi tutaentertain hapo. Kesi watoe na wao wenyewe watoke,” Ruto said.
“Wakitaka kuniletea kisirani either wahame Kenya ama nitawaweka jela ama wasafiri waende mbinguni."
