Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi is expected to leave the country for a three-day working visit to the United Kingdom.
The visit is scheduled to begin on September 10.
During the visit, Mudavadi is scheduled to participate in key events including a meeting with Oxford Management Policy (OPM) at the Kenya High Commission to receive a Report on “Rapid Thicker Diagnostic for Kenya”.
He will also meet the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) partners to discuss partnerships in business strategy, empowering organizations to grow, build sustainable competitive advantage, and drive positive societal impact.
The Prime CS is also scheduled for a meeting with the UK Minister of State (Rail & HS2) Huw Merriman for a reaffirmation of His Majesty’s Government (HMG) and the government of Kenya’s joint commitment to partnering on Nairobi Railway City (NRC).
He will also meet with the Network Rail Chair- Lord Peter Hendy.
Mudavadi will be accompanied by the Principal Secretary for Transport, as well as the Kenya Railways chairman and Managing Director.
He will also be accompanied by the Secretary, Government Programmes and Projects Delivery, the Head of Government Delivery Services and the Policy and Strategy Advisor.
The UK visit comes a few days after UK Minister of State in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Andrew Mitchell launched the Sh28 billion Nairobi Railway City project.
