Key Azimio leaders on Friday joined opposition leader Raila Odinga on his tour of Migori County.
They included DAP-K party leader and Former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa and ex-Murang'a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria.
Others are Former Laikipia Governor Nderitu Muriithi, Kitui Senator Enock Wambua and Migori Governor Ochilo Ayacko.
Raila is holding a rally in Suna West constituency after an earlier meeting with Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) party delegates.
"ODM is a very strong party and even as we work with other parties, it is even stronger," said Ayacko during the delegates meeting.
"The people of Migori will stand with you no matter what. There is no one like Baba."
Suna West MP Peter Masara said the Luo community will continue to support Raila even if Kenya Kwanza rejects him.
"Even if you take away my security, I remain Raila's loyal supporter," he said.
Raila's tour of his Migori turf comes hours after he cracked the whip and expelled rebel MPs who are supporting the Kenya Kwanza administration.
At the meeting were ODM grassroots leaders from across all the constituencies in Migori County.
The delegates' meetings are seen as part of Raila's elaborate game plan to revamp grassroots networks as the party readies for the 2027 polls.
Raila has planned several activities in South Nyanza into the weekend to also fend off a frenetic push by Kenya Kwanza to weaken him.
On Sunday, Raila will move to the neighbouring Kisii County where he will hold meetings in Bomachoge Borabu and also attend a church service.
"The party leader will be in Migori on Friday and Kisii on Sunday," confirmed a senior ODM official.
He is also planning to be in Siaya on Saturday.
Raila has embarked on countrywide tours to strengthen grassroots support even as he moves to inject more energy into the ODM leadership.
