The Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi on Friday arrived in Kigali, Rwanda.

Mudavadi is set to meet Rwanda President Paul Kigame and deliver a special message from His Excellency President William Ruto.

The visit will also highlight Kenya's unwavering commitment to nurturing and reinforcing the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation that exist between Nairobi and Kigali.

The discussions will primarily focus on strengthening cooperation within the member states of the East African Community, fostering unity, and promoting shared prosperity among the two nations.

On Thursday, Musalia was in Uganda where he also met Uganda President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe.

President Ruto handed him the Foreign Affairs and Diaspora docket in a Cabinet reshuffle announced on Wednesday.

Mudavadi in return vowed to serve the people of Kenya with utmost commitment and integrity.

Mudavadi said he is fully aware of the job that awaits him.

"I am fully aware of the significance of my dual role, and I embrace the opportunity with a profound sense of duty and dedication. I pledge to continue serving the people of Kenya and our country with unwavering commitment, integrity, and diligence I will champion, pursue, and protect the interests of Kenyans, both within our borders and abroad," Mudavadi said.
