Judy Njino is the United Nations Global Compact, Kenya Executive Director, and has been at the helm since 2013. 

In the role of Executive Director, Njino is tasked with steering the strategic vision to firmly establish ethical and sustainable business practices within Kenya's Private Sector.

Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in fostering partnerships to propel the sustainable development agenda forward.

She had an interview with the Star, Kenya. 

I'm good at................ I recently discovered baking 

I'm very bad at.............mmmh, this one is hard, pass. 

The last book I enjoyed reading is............. Wangari Mathai's last autobiography, I'm also reading Martin Oduor's autobiography

A common misconception of me is......That I am a social butterfly, I like to be reserved, I like to be that fly on the wall.  

The most surprising thing that happened to me is............... Pass

One of my worst childhood fears was................ Ghosts, after watching horror movies and at night I would hate myself for it

I wish people would take more notice of.................. There is so much we can do for the planet, wherever God has placed you, check how you can make a difference 

My ideal night out is................. At home, relaxing and maybe watching a movie. 

In moments of weakness ............ I pray. 

In another life, I would have been............... I would have been a counselor, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology and Community Development.

If I was a politician, I would.............. To restore order, I feel there is a lot that we can do to support small traders to ensure they thrive

The best age to be is.............. In every age, we learn a thing or two 

The best part of my job is................. Meeting different people from different backgrounds, and it's interesting to interact 

In a nutshell, my philosophy is...... We are the ones we have always been waiting for, nobody is coming to our rescue.

My idea of perfect happiness is..... Peace, if you can steady yourself when the world is storming around you, that's it. 

Living people I most admire...... My parents, I would not be where I am today if not for them. Everything I am today is because of them. Outside of family, I admire people who have dared to stand out and challenge the status quo. 

My greatest achievement is ...... To grow the UN Global Compact in Kenya is not something I am not shy about. 

My greatest regret is....... Pass 

My greatest possession is..... As a family, it's our cat, over the years we have homed stray cats and when they come in they are like members of the family. I always say she its the best thing we ever bought. She has her own Instagram account. 

My favourite author is...... I enjoy autobiography, right now, it's Martin Oduor. 

One thing that I would change about myself is ....... I'm currently trying to stay in the moment and focus on what is happening and be present, as the intensity of the work puts me on the edge a lot. I am waiting for that day.
