Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has celebrated her birthday by offering a free medical camp in her home area.

In her X platform, the Second Lady said she was grateful to God and Kenyans for the opportunity to serve.

She said she was full of gratitude, celebrating another year of life and for the experiences that the Lord has granted her.

"Because God saw it fit for the community of Ndunyu ya Chege, Gatanga Constituency to be my place of birth and the home where I spent my childhood years, it is my joy to celebrate this birthday by offering a free medical camp," she said.

The Second Lady was born in Ndunyu ya Chege village in Gatanga Constituency, Muranga County.

Pastor Dorcas serves at Dorcas Rigathi Mercy Ministries.

She has always been passionate about helping the most vulnerable.

Under the Office of the Spouse of the Deputy President (OSDP), Pastor Dorcas has a vision of a dignified future for vulnerable populations grounded on chaplaincy and family values.

She has been active in the church and started serving as an usher in 2002 after she was later ordained in 2011

Her main focus groups have been the boychild, orphans, widows, and persons with disabilities.

Kenyans also joined the Second Lady in celebrating her birthday by sending her best wishes and wishing her many more in life.

Last year, she celebrated her birthday at an elegant event.

She was celebrated by her two sons Kevin Rigathi and Keith Rigathi, family members and friends.

She was gifted a two-tier cake decorated in purple and white cream with gold ribbons on each layer.

"Happy Birthday Pastor Dorcas," read the purple message on the cake.

The pastor was also gifted a bouquet of colourful yellow flowers, which she posed with for a photo to mark the day.

"God has been faithful, and His grace sufficient to me," she said.
