Jamia Mosque on Saturday held an Open Day event where the doors of the worship house were opened to people of other faiths.
The event began in the morning at around 9 am.
It aimed at promoting a better understanding of Islam and Muslims, as well as fostering tolerance and cohesion between Muslims and people of other faiths.
Visitors were taken on a guided tour of the mosque, with those who had questions about Islam having them answered by Muslim scholars.
They also had an opportunity to witness Islamic prayers and were provided with free Islamic literature, including a copy of the Holy Qur'an.
In 2022, over 500 people, including members of the Christian clergy and students from theological institutions, attended the Mosque Open Day event.
