Ruto to attend church service in Bomet county

President William Ruto is set to attend a church service in Bomet County on Sunday.

The service will be held in Sotik town.

Being a man with no off days, the Head of State in the midst of his busy diary always finds time to attend church services.

Whether the service is within Nairobi or across its borders, the President will always be on time.

On Saturday, Ruto was in the Mt Kenya region where he visited two counties.

In the morning hours, the President was in Kirinyaga county where he ommissioned the construction of the 54-Kilometre Sagana-Thiguku, Mururi-Kiumbuini, Kirwara-Kagio and Karaini-Kangaita Roads in Ndia.

He was accompanied by Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah among other leaders.

Later in the day, Ruto joined his deputy Rigathi Gachgaua and other political bigwigs in attending the traditional wedding ceremony of two UDA MPs.

Mathira MP  Eric Wamumbi and Murang’a County Woman Representative Betty Maina tied the knot in a traditional Kikuyu ceremony.
