The Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) has declared vacancies for staff replacement in various departments.
In a notice dated November 28, the agency says it intends to fill 26 positions which include researchers, laboratory technologists and accountants among others.
“The institute wished to recruit dynamic, result-oriented and self-driven persons to fill the advertised positions,” the advert reads.
“Please visit our website for a detailed job profile and instructions for application. Applicants should include the position applied for on the envelope. Kindly note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.”
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications by December 18.
Positions to be filled are principal human resource management officer (1), plant operator (1), artisan electrician (1), artisan plumber (1), assistant supply chain management officer (2), laboratory technician (3) and assistant office administrator (2).
Others are corporate communication officer (1), assistant ICT officer (1), assistant information scientist (1), research scientist (1), assistant laboratory technologist, analytical chemistry (1), assistant laboratory technologist, microbiology (1) among several others.
KEFRI is a state corporation established in 1986 with the obligation to undertake forest research, generate and promote improved technologies for sustainable management, conservation and development of forest and allied natural resources.
