Ruto awards EACC CEO Mbarak, 14 other officers national honours

They were honoured for their distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the nation.

President William Ruto on Tuesday conferred Awards and Honours to 15 EACC officials including the chief executive officer Twalib Mbarak.

Mbarak was honoured with the Moran of the Order of the Golden Heart (MGH) in recognition of distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the nation.

Order of the Golden Heart of the Republic of Kenya is the highest award in Kenya and is split into three classes: Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart (C.G.H.), Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (E.G.H.) and Moran of the Order of the Golden Heart (M.G.H.).

EACC Vice Chairperson  Monica Muiru and Director of Preventive Service Vincent Okong’o were honoured with Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS).

EACC Deputy Directors Humphrey Mahiva, David Kaboro, and Regional Manager  (Nakuru office) Ignatius Wekesa were honoured with the order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya (OGW).

Assistant Directors Alfred Mwachuga and Emily Ibeere were also honoured with similar awards.

Legal officer Jackie Kibogy, Investigations Officers Catherine Ngari, Elijah Wahome and Patricia Chebet were conferred with Head of State Commendation (HSC).

Education Officer (Malindi Office) Shallet Walongo, Corporate Affairs and Protocol Officer Irene Ndirangu and Procurement Officer Haretha Ahmedi also received HSW honours.
