The Orange Democratic party has scheduled a series of grassroots recruitment drives and consultative forums across the country as part of efforts to bolster its bases ahead of the 2027 elections.
The party released the itinerary on Wednesday during the Central Committee's first meeting of the year in Nairobi where the party also disbanded its National Elections Board.
The recruitment is a continuation of phase one of the exercise launched on November 11, 2023, to enhance the party's image ahead of the grassroots elections expected by the end of April.
Party leader Raila Odinga spearheaded the exercise in his home turf Nyanza starting with Siaya, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira and Kisumu.
