Celebrated actor Charles Ouda's mother Yunia has shared her tribute to her late son.

Through a tribute titled 'A letter from Charli's mum', she shared her experience with the Makutano Junction star.

"I said God's Decision are above ours. Its still hard to believe that he has taken you away from me "baba". I'm so proud to have watched you grown into the great lively lovable man," she said.

She remembered the good times they shared highlighting the random calls from Charlie when he was at work," mum are you Okey?, mum what do you want me to buy for you?" 

She mourned Ouda thanking him for always checking up on her and cooking for her and 'being her long-time barber'.

"I will dearly miss your spicy chickens that you made for me," Ouda's mum said.

Ending her letter, Ouda's mother emphasised her love for the 38-year-old actor saying; "No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you Charlie. I love you so much and you will always be in my heart."

The actor, who graced the screens in shows such as Know Zone, will be dearly missed, according to the messages of condolence that have been passed by Kenyans.

Family and friends of Charles 'Charlie' Ouda have also paid their tributes to the late actor, his fiancee describing him as a selfless lover who appreciated art.

Ouda was engaged to former BBC Africa host Ciru Muriuki.

In September 2023, they both declared their engagement, charming many with their romantic moments.

Charlie passed away just six months after the engagement.
