Auctioneers on Wednesday carted away 10 vehicles belonging to Mediheal Hospital Nakuru which is co-owned by Former Kesses MP Swarup Mishra.

The vehicles were seized to repay a debt of Sh40 million.

John Muthee of Tango Auctioneers has said another court order of Sh 13 million is pending.

Mediheal Hospital Nakuru Branch was closed last year after a financial downhill that left 17 doctors unpaid among other stuff.

The hospital is part of the Mediheal Group of Hospitals valued at Sh30 billion.

The group, which had five branches with its headquarters in Eldoret, has since been on the verge of collapse due to serious financial challenges.

The crisis started last year when some medical insurance firms suddenly withdrew partnerships causing a debilitating revenue drop.

Mishra who is facing another auction in Eldoret earlier termed his woes as an "unfortunate witch hunt".

"Unfortunate witch-hunt incident but God has the final say," Mishra sai on Facebook

The list released by Jomuki Auctioneers stated that the auction, which was directed by its client, will take place on July 2, 2024 outside Eldoret Post Office from 11 am.

The notice contains four plots of land, all belonging to Mediheal Group Limited, which was founded by Mishra and his wife Dr Palavi Mishra.

Of the pieces of land, one is within Blossom Area in Kiambaa-Kesses Division measuring 0.2223 acres, another at Ngeria Centre being 10.0, 30.6 and 10.0 acres.

Others are two plots of land at Elgon View- Greenvale area with one measuring 1.076 acres and another at 1.086 acres.

Mishra served as Kesses MP in 2017 but lost the seat in the 2022 elections to Julius Rutto, a little-known political novice who was running on a UDA ticket.
