Rider stabbed to death, robbed of motorcycle in Lolgorian at Kenya-Tanzania border

A Bodaboda rider was killed before being robbed of his motorcycle in an attack in Angata Barrikoi area, Lolgorian at the Kenya-Tanzania border.

The incident happened on June 20, police said.

According to the police, the body of Philip Kipkemei Langat, 35 was found after his murder.

Police said the man based at Lolgorian took one female pillion passenger to Tanzania side and while coming back he was attacked by unknown assailants who killed him.

The attackers escaped with his motorcycle. The body had multiple stab wounds on the chest.

The body was moved Lolgorian Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.

Police said they had contacted their Tanzanian counterparts for help in tracing the attackers.
