Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that some leaders are being used to divide the community.
Speaking in Muranga during the burial of the late businessman Gerald Gikonyo.
Gachagua said that a time is coming when those being used will be shamed in public.
"Those who are out to sell the community to the oppressor will be named in public and we will not allow being divided, "Gachagua said
He urged residents to be on the watchout and follow only those who are ready to serve them in matters of development.
He said that he would not be distracted by those being used to fight the unity of the region.
He said that he would rally behind President William Ruto.
He said that the people of the Mt Kenya region should unite and speak in one voice.
He said that the Kenya Kwanza government is ready to fulfil the campaign manifestos.
