President William Ruto has told off Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai on the issues he raised during the Friday X Space.
At first, the host of the Space was hesitant to allow the Kileleshwa MCA to speak.
He, was, however, granted permission to speak and raised his concerns to the President.
He questioned why the government failed to listen to doctor interns when they raised their concerns.
Alai further asked the President why some key government projects were scrapped.
The MCA said that the Nairobi Source Revenue has issues with its collection and wanted the President to address them.
"When you decided to say you were not going to listen to the doctor interns, I said, does the President know what he is doing because he is touching on the hearts of Kenyans," he said.
"I'm the vice chairman of ICT in Nairobi City County Assembly but nobody knows who is collecting revenue for Nairobi City County Mr President, it saddens me because if that revenue was collected in the right manner then some of the bills would be taken up by the counties and it will not come to you in the national government to pay those bills.
The President took a swipe at him saying that he should be the one to answer questions concerning Nairobi County.
He further said that Alai's work is to oversight, legislate and interrogate the county to ensure the job is done.
"I want to tell you that it is a Nairobi County affair, You Mr Alai should not be asking me, the public should be asking you because you are the person responsible, you are the representative of the people, you should answer that question, you should be the one to interrogate the county government it is your oversight responsibility and represent and legislate," Ruto said..
"I just want you to take up your job and do it."
Alai said that when the President succeed the whole country becomes successful.
The President said that he wants the country to succeed even if it leads to his failure.
