The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has announced the relocation of its offices from Sky Park Plaza Westlands.
In a notice seen by Star on Tuesday, NPSC will now be based on the 6th floor of CBK pension towers, Harambee Avenue.
"This is to notify the general public and our stakeholders that we have relocated from Sky Park Plaza, Westlands to the 6th floor of CBK Pension Towers, Harambee Avenue," the notice read.
NPSC has said that their movement aims to enhance collaboration, productivity and satisfaction of their employees and stakeholders.
"To reach us call 0709099000, email [email protected] and also their P.O. BOX 47363-00100, Nairobi," NPSC said.
The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) is one of the independent commissions established under Chapter Fifteen of the Constitution 2010.
The Commission is established under Article 246 of the Constitution.
It took over, among other functions, the human resource management function of the Police Service, which previously was being handled by the Public Service Commission.
The establishment of the National Police Service Commission to specifically oversee the human resource functions of the National Police Service is not only anchored in the Constitution but also a culmination of findings and recommendations by various task forces appointed by the Government on the role of the Police in providing security and maintaining law and order.
