At least 78 per cent of protesters participated physically during the anti-government protests while 37 per cent staged social media protests.
Those who protested on social media went live on the platforms, retweeted and also protested on YouTube.
Other Gen Zs resorted to blogging at six per cent and another six per cent offered financial support.
At least five per cent of the protesting Gen Zs visited offices to express displeasure while four per cent volunteered to mobilize and organise the protests.
According to Infotrak, three per cent offered moral support and another three per cent provided social assistance including medical assistance, water, masks and foodstuffs.
Two per cent of the Gen Zs campaigned in Churches while one per cent rescued injured and arrested protesters.
The country's high cost of living and unemployment triggered Gen Zs to come out and protest.
According to Infotrak, the high cost of living is leading with 54 per cent followed by unemployment with 52 per cent.
Number three was the withdrawal of the Finance Bill 2024 with 43 per cent followed by corruption at 36 per cent.
They were followed by the high cost of education with 13 per cent, lack of political representation with 11 per cent and economic inequality with 10 per cent.
At least four per cent were inspired by protests in other countries and one per cent were triggered by poor business environment.
About one in every four interviewed Gen Zs 27 per cent affirmed to have personally participated in the ongoing protests.
The survey was conducted on July 14 and 15, 2024 with a sample size of 1,000 respondents to represent Gen Zs aged 18-27 years at the time of the survey.
There was a margin error of ±3.099 per cent at a 95 per cent degree of confidence.
The interviews were conducted through computer-assisted telephone interviews.
