Molo Member of Parliament Kimani Kuria has said as MPs, they will conduct proper vetting of the cabinet nominees to ensure the Cabinet is comprised of competent people.
He has said that the Cabinet should be capable of assisting the President deliver on his pledges.
“I can assure Kenyans that we will do proper vetting to the Cabinet nominees so that we can have competent and capable people to assist our President on his pledges.” Said Kimani
He has assured Kenyans that only those who will pass the vetting process will be appointed Cabinet Secretaries.
“We will involve cabinet nominees in proper vetting, ask relevant questions and only those who will pass the process will be appointed CS,” he said
Kimani has thanked President William Ruto for nominating 32-year-old Eric Muriithi Muga as Cabinet Secretary for Water and Sanitation.
President William Ruto nominated 10 cabinet secretaries and an Attorney General for his government last week.
The nomination came weeks after the President sacked his entire cabinet save from Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.

Ministry of Agriculture and LivestockDevelopment- Dr Andrew Karanja
Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy- Dr Margaret Ndungu
The President nominated Rebecca Miano as the Attorney General.
