Detectives are investigating three separate suicide cases in different parts of the country.
The first case is of a man whose body was found in his house after a suspected suicide in Kibera slums, Nairobi.
Robert Mbugua had been missing since July 26 until three days later when his body was discovered in the Soweto area.
He was found lying dead in his rented house he lived with a friend.
Police said the body had blisters when they arrived.
The cause of the death is yet to be established but police said preliminary findings point to suicide.
The body was moved to the City mortuary awaiting post-mortem.
In Ngong Town, the body of a girl aged 18 was found in their house after a suspected suicide.
Police said Natalia Manisa Muthomi hanged herself on the roof of the living room using a neck scarf.
The motive of the incident is yet to be known. Police moved the body to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other investigations.
Elsewhere in the Kihunguro area, Ruiru, Kiambu County, one Albert Amimo, 45 died by suicide inside his rented house.
Police visited the scene and found the house locked from inside. They gained access by breaking the steel door.
The lifeless body of the deceased was found dangling from the roof with a plastic rope around his neck.
No suicide note was recovered and an investigation is ongoing, police said as they moved the body to the mortuary.
Cases of suicide are on the rise amid calls for action to tame the trend. Police say they record up to two cases daily in a worrying trend.
