Uhuru planning to meet Raila over fate of Azimio

Reports indicate that former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio leader Raila Odinga are going to meet over the fate of Azimio.

This comes days after Raila claimed that Uhuru asked him to talk to President William Ruto to resolve the crisis caused by Gen Z protests.

Speaking on Tuesday, he said the country was on the brink of collapse as a result of the demonstrations.

"Uhuru said if the country went down, then we have no other country," Raila said.

Additionally, the Azimio Coalition has been divided following the formation of the Raila-Ruto broad-based government.

A section of Azimio leaders led by former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka have opposed the deal.
