State House has come out to address social media reports suggesting that President William Ruto used the same cast while launching development projects recently in Embu and Kisii.

In a post shared through a page, Dictator Watch, Ruto purportedly launched the last mile connectivity project in Mbeere while accompanied by a woman who also followed him to Kisii for a similar development tour.

The unidentified woman donning the same attire in the two events which happened days apart, according to the information on the page, is a common figure in Ruto’s development tours.

Meet a multilocationist working for William Ruto. This woman is both Embu, Maasai and so far Kisii. She has the capacity to be mamamboga, Tea Kiosk owner, house wife and Posho mill owner,” he said.

However, State House spokesman Hussein Mohamed has termed as untrue the reports urging the operators of the account to stop deceiving the public.

Do not mislead Kenyans. It’s not true that same woman was at different locations of the President’s development tours,” he said.

Hussein also went ahead to share original photos taken during Ruto’s events in the two counties saying it depicts the true position.

He has identified the woman whose photo has been circulated as Ruth Moraa.

She is seen with Ruto inside a posho mill upgraded by REREC by installing an electric motor in the Bonchari constituency.

Same homestead; different photos; having breakfast, Mama Moraa’s posho meal & family photo. She was not in Embu,” he said.

In the Embu function, Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua are pictured taking tea at the home of Mama Lydia during the commissioning of the Last Mile Projects at Cianthia village.
