KPLC: Areas in 10 counties to face power cuts Tuesday

Kenya Power has listed areas in 10 counties scheduled for power cuts on Tuesday.

The power interruption will facilitate system maintenance.

The areas will experience a power interruption at diverse times from 8am to 5pm.

The counties to be affected include Nairobi, Nyandarua, Nandi, Tharaka Nithi, Kiambu, Vihiga, Laikipia, Meru, Mombasa and Kilifi.

Nairobi

Parts of Nairobi will face power interruptions from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Githurai 45, Co-op Bank, Naivas, Kingdom Sacco, Mt. Kenya, Kimbo, Mwana Mukia, Clanne Academy, Kassmatt, Fountain Junior, Kwa DO, Mukinye, Army Barracks, Sukari B, Mwiki School, Kimbo Police, Part of Mwihoko, Farmers Choice, Part of Clay City, and adjacent customers.

At the same time areas including Pipeline Estate, Jackmil Supermarket, Quick Mart Supermarket, PCEA Pipeline, Stage Mpya, Part of Tassia Stage, Avenue Park and 2 East, Kwa Kirima, Amazon, Pebble Hotel and adjacent customers will also face power interruption.

Other areas in Nairobi set for power cuts are Mageta Road, Part of Mugumo Road, Ndoto Road, Lavington Shopping Centre, Isaack Gathanju Road, Maji Mazuri, Elmolo Drive, Lavington Curve, Shell Lavington, KFC Lavington, Part of Muhoya Avenue, Jaffery Sports Club, Muthangari Road, Equity Lavington, Naushid Merali, Social House, Jacaranda Avenue, Ramisi Road, Part of Gitanga Road, Maria Immaculate Hospital, Vanga Road, Masanduku Lane, Part of Mbaazi Avenue, British High Commission Gitanga Road, Gitanga Close, Muthangari Gardens, Valley Arcade Shopping Centre, Othaya Road, Mararo Avenue, Part of Argwing Khodek, Part of Oledume Road, Part of Oloitoktok Road, Part of Korosho Road and adjacent customers.

Nyandarua

Areas in Nyandarua will experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Murungaru Including Turasha, Memo, Engineer Town, Ndunyu Njeru, Karima Girls, Kinangop Daily, Daima Daily, Kaimba, Munyaka, Njabini, Sasumua Dam, Kinamba, Ndinda and adjacent customers.

Nandi

Parts of Nandi will experience power interruption from 9.30am to 5pm.

The areas include Cheptabach, Kibukwo, Kabirer, Maraba, Senetwo, Songhor, Soba River, Tachasis, Miteitei, Tinderet, Mbogo Valley and adjacent customers.

Vihiga

Parts of Vihiga will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

The areas are Luanda Market, Ebwiranyi, Mukhalakhala, Epangá, Ebubayi, Mulele, Esaba, Esibila, Ebulondi, Esibakala, Radio Anyole, Radio Samaritan, Epali, Mabwi, Ebuyangu and adjacent customers.

Tharaka Nithi

Areas in Tharaka Nithi will face power interruption from 8.30am to 4pm.

The areas are Chera Market, Kanyuru Primary School, Ikawa Secondary, Gikumbo Village, Ngaani Primary School, Kamuguogo Primary School, Nyagakairu Primary School, Karamungi Secondary School, and adjacent customers.

Laikipia

Areas in Laikipa scheduled for power interruption from 8.30am to 4.30pm are Olpejeta, Depatas, Tundra, Freshigold, Segera, Zimbabwe, New Daraja Academy and adjacent customers.

Meru

Areas in Meru to experience power cuts from 8.30am to 5pm are Kianjai Market, Ngundune Market, Michii Mikuru T/Factory, KBC Nyambene, Kirema Kiuma AP Training, Kioro Market, Tigania Mission Hospital, Kamoja Road, Ntarami, Karii, Muutionjuri Dispensary, Mwerondu Market, Kadebe Dispensary and adjacent customers.

Kiambu

Parts of Kiambu set for power disruption from 9am to 5pm include KIST, Mushroom East, Thindigua, Quickmart, GG Shopping Centre, Muthithi, Njathaini, Eden Ville and adjacent customers.

Mombasa

Parts of Mombasa will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Coast Calcium, Waa Girls, Shonda Maweni and adjacent customers.

Kilifi

Areas in Kilifi are set to experience power interruption from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Pwani University, Konjora, Palakumi, Ganze, Vitengeni, Matano Manne, Lango Baya, Magogoni and adjacent customers.
