The Public Service Commission has announced vacancies in various ministries and state departments.
PSC said all interested and qualified persons must submit their applications by September 10, 2024.
"Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications Online through the Commission website: www.publicservice.go.ke or jobs portal: www.psckjobs.go.ke to reach the Commission on or before 10th September 2024 (Latest 5 pm East African Time)," the notice reads.
The 144 vacancies include 42 assistant county commissioner II positions, a deputy director, Social Welfare/Counselling Services and six assistant directors, Social Welfare.
The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development department is hiring an individual for the positions of secretary, director, deputy directors and assistant directors in various positions.
The State Department for Public Service is hiring two directors, Counselling and Wellness Services, and a deputy director.
It is also looking for 14 assistant directors, Counselling and Wellness Services, 15 in Management Consultancy Services, and six in Public Service Reforms, as well as 10 others in Research.
The Parliamentary Affairs state department is hiring two legal affairs officers, three Parliamentary Affairs officers and 10 Co-ordination & Strategy officers.
Transport is looking for two assistant directors, Air Transport and another two in Shipping and Maritime.
The Youth Affairs and Creative Economy department is hiring a director, Youth development.
The irrigation department is hiring a director, Irrigation Sector Development Co-ordination, deputy director/Senior Principal Superintending Engineer Irrigation Infrastructure Development, deputy director/Senior Principal Superintending Engineer-Water Harvesting and Storage, a deputy director Land Reclamation & Ecosystem Restoration and a deputy director Irrigation Water Management.
The PSC also announced vacancies in the office of Deputy Vice Chancellor - Administration, Finance, Planning and Development at Chuka University and Deputy Vice-Chancellor- Academic Affairs and Research at the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology.
The National Social Security Fund is also hiring at least 131 people to fill various vacancies including three ICT officer II positions, 41Compliance officer II, 14 Fingerprints officer II and a Human resource officer II.
The Fund is also looking for 35 Office administrator II, a security officer II, two assistant Records Management officer III, 23 driver II and 11 Office assistants.
